Flew out of Lexington towards San Francisco via Chicago. My flights were all uneventful. I ate breakfast about 8:30 and left Lexington around 10:30, got to Chicago around 11:45 or something like that and pretty much had to head straight from one plane to get onto the other which wasn’t cool because i was rather hungry. I then arrived at SFO around 2:30 in the afternoon and made my way to baggage claim and grabbed my checked bag and then set out about finding the airport BART station. I was still really hungry, but i didn’t have much time before i had to catch the Richmond train to the Ashby station in Berkeley in order to meet Misty at our planned time. There was a BART train that went all the way from the airport to the Ashby station during peak hours so i took it. It was kind a cool, don’t think i’ve ever taken a subway public transit system other than a bus.
I got to the station and met Misty who had just finished signing the lease on her new apartment (she’s going to G.T.U studying for a MDIV.) We moved a load of stuff into her place, which was decent, a pretty nice apartment, but on a busy street. After that we went to get something to eat Blondie’s on Telegraph Avenue. That’s some good pizza. We got pizza to go and walked down to the plaza and at near a fountain: Misty and the plaza.
After that we drove around for a bit, Misty showed me a place that she’d looked into living and really liked. We then stopped by the bakery where she used to work and then headed down towards Monterey. I enjoyed getting to talk with her on the way down, she’s got a lot going on lately, interesting time in her life and all. We stopped by her house for a few minutes, Morgan and Marguerite came home and tried to talk me into moving out there into the beach front apartment with them, heh. We then went over to Alex’s and watched a bit of the Olympics before going to pick up Melissa from the Monterey airport. When then headed to Melissa’s where i met Kris (Melissa’s house-mate) who i’d talked to quite a bit, but never met. We watched the rest of the Olympics and headed to bed.
