Made for about $20 in wood and an hour or so of time. It's really nice to be grown up, have a job, and make enough money to buy toys^Wtools. When you have the right tools it's pretty easy to build decent looking stuff. I wish I had a before picture of the mess of shoes we had in the closet, but I didn't think to take it. While shopping for some gardening stuff at Lowe's yesterday I decided to pick up stuff to build a simple shoe rack. 4'x1' sheet of pine board and 2 8'x1" round dowels. This was the first real use I had for my miter saw and it made for quick work of accurately cutting the bars. I had to cut the ends with a circular saw which is less than idea, but with a guide piece of wood it does a decent enough job. I'd love to get a table saw, but I don't have the space for it :(.
